Since Linkedin has corrupted my previous blog for some strange reason and my Google Task Bar has gone berzerk, I have found it necessary to create this inspiring new blog.  Oh well, sometimes it's nice to start fresh, even when you're in the middle of a thousand things!  So here goes. . . .

Another Long Beach Appearance

Each appearance brings newfound knowledge of publicity/marketing strategies.  Who knew that when my friend, Lisa (Alex's Mom), took some books to the salon she manages that her clients would be so eager to purchase them!  In fact I'm sending her some more books!  WTG Lisa!  You rock!

Long Beach Appearance

The first of many appearances was yesterday in Long Beach.  Tonight I'm in Diamond Bar.  The coffeehouse experience is very warm, welcoming and down-to-earth ~ I love it!

Yes, it's hard work and patience must be executed ~ but I trust the payoff will be worth the effort!

Illicit Coterie Launch Party

Oh what a perfect and elegant evening. Gathered were friends anticipating the release of my breakout novel, Illicit Coterie. Chef put together wonderful delights such as those found in San Francisco while the server mingled through the crowd serving them up on silver platters. The bartender, my daughter Stephanie, joyfully mixed drinks while swing music filled the background.  Alexandra, my Goddaughter and Assistant, eagerly sold books to enthusiastic "future fans". Eight guests were tagged to perform in a "Murder Mystery" that I wrote for the occasion while everyone tried to figure out who-done-it. Of those who correctly figured out who was the "murderer", one was selected to win a Kindle. Through lots of love and laughter the evening went on into the night fulfilling an author's dream!

First Copy!

The first copy of my book arrived while I was out of town!  WOO HOO!  Just have a little more marketing to do and it will be available for purchase!

I am so excited to see my dream come to fruition after lots of HARD work and LONG days and nights!
